Activity Curriculum
 
Purpose The purpose of curriculum as an activity is to develop a set of courses for Public Administration Officials of developing countries and help Community members to adapt, customize and implement the curriculum according to the particular needs of each country.
 
Description

The development of curriculum for Public Administration Officials including CIOs, provides an opportunity for Government Leaders in developing countries to be better equipped to deal with the challenges of e-Governance in the Public Sector.

The Curriculum activity involves the following tasks:

  1. creating a working group to develop the curriculum using the experience and backgrounds of different countries,
  2. customizing the curriculum to suit local needs,
  3. promoting the use of the curriculum through workshops
  4. helping to implement the curriculum through schools
  5. making the individual courses available through the portal
 
Illustration

The figure below shows how curriculum is developed by experts and delivered to participants attending schools. A school disseminates the knowledge covered by the curriculum through several courses. Both experts and participants are current or future members.
