Purpose The purpose of the conferences is to establish a truly global forum for researchers, practitioners and developers from academia, government and industry to present the latest findings on the theory and practice of Electronic Governance.

Description

A series of International Conferences on the Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance (ICeGov) is planned to support the Initiative.

ICeGov is particularly interested in cross-border contributions that establish connections between theory, technology and practice of e-governance, and succeed in effectively communicating their findings to different audiences:

  • from researchers to developers,
  • from developers to public managers,
  • from managers to researchers, and more.

ICeGov will welcome foundational and technological contributions, as well as experience reports. Contributions are also sought which cross the borders of the many disciplines relevant to Electronic Governance:

  • Information Technology,
  • Public Administration,
  • Information Systems,
  • Knowledge Management,
  • Business Management,
  • Sociology,
  • Economics
  • and others.
